Tom Sandoval and ex spoke of split after he left for reality show

Tom Sandoval and Victoria Lee Robinson had discussed breaking up prior to the conflict that led to their immediate split, and subsequent legal entanglements linked to their parting last month. 

The Vanderpump Rules alum, 43, and model, 34, had been talking about parting after he left for three weeks this past April for Panama to work on a Netflix show, insiders told TMZ on Monday.

While filming for the streamer – a survival compeтιтion series Alan Ritchson is host of – Sandoval had been without his phone for a three-week span, sources told the outlet.

Upon his return, Sandoval and Robinson candidly discussed the future of their relationship, insiders said, with her looking to move on, while he appeared to want to remain a couple.

The former couple at the time decided to stay united, but things would go astray in the ensuing months. 

The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for both parties for further comment on the story.

Sandoval’s rep provided TMZ with a different account of events, saying that he had actually sought to end things with Robinson on a number of occasions, but didn’t, claiming she vowed to make false allegations about him if that happened.

Robinson and her father lived with Sandoval for a near-two-year-span in which he said he covered the majority of rent payments, the Bravo alum’s rep told the outlet. 

He said he was forced to go through legal channels to have Robinson and her father vacate the premises prior to getting his things. 

Robinson – who was rejected in her bid for a restraining order against Sandoval earlier this month – denied the allegations, according to the outlet.

Sandoval’s rep said that he ‘remains focused on the legal process and rebuilding his life.’

Robinson was arrested in the wake of a June 3 incident after Sandoval told authorities she had struck him, submitting a series of pH๏τos of injuries he claimed he suffered in the attack, in a court filing in Los Angeles. 

In that incident, footage appeared to show Sandoval pushing away Robinson’s father (after he grabbed Sandoval) into a lit fire pit during an intense argument.

In a clip from the discussion, Sandoval was positioned by a door while Robinson and her father Will were seated.

The pair were arguing, with things escalating to a physical level when Sandoval asked Robinson if she had been filming the tense discussion, saying, ‘Are you recording me right now?’

The Vanderpump Rules star accused Robinson of abuse in a court filing reviewed by the Daily Mail, claiming that she and her father Will Robinson attacked him at his LA home on June 3 

As he leaned into her personal space, her father got up and appeared to try to restrain Sandoval by grabbing his waist and pulling him away from her.

At that point, Sandoval appeared to use both hands to shove her father, leading him to fall into the active fire pit. Sandoval then retreated into the house, and was followed by her father.  

‘During this same incident, [Will Robinson] grabbed me and punched an approximately 12-inch hole in the door of my spare bedroom where I was barricading myself,’ Sandoval said in the court filing.

He continued, ‘Victoria then entered the spare bedroom and hit my face and temple area towards my hairline, which I captured on video. The impact of the blow was so forceful that it caused my vision to blur.’

He told the court that at that point he had contacted police, at which time Robinson was arrested, and released on bond later in the day. 

Sandoval said that he regrets allegedly helping bail Robinson out of jail after accepting a call from her and sending money to her mother.
