Bobby Brown left fans stunned as he appeared to snub his late ex-wife Whitney Houston while onstage in Las Vegas over the weekend.

The 57-year-old singer performed his hits from the 80s, marking the recent 38th anniversary of his 1988 album Don’t Be Cruel.

He also delivered several covers during a poignant tribute section  – including Rick James’s Give It to Me Baby, Michael Jackson’s Rock With You, and Prince and the Revolution’s Purple Rain.

Noticeably missing from the tribute set at the Palms Las Vegas was any nod to Houston – who died in 2012 at age 48 – or her dazzling array of hits.

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for comment and has yet to hear back. 

The exes were married from 1992-2007, and shared daughter Bobbi Kristina, who died in 2015 at age 22.

Brown has been married to Alicia Etheredge since 2012.

Brown’s first numbers were performed in a black leather, ʙuттon-up shirt-jacket.

He added a white baseball cap, worn backwards, and rectangular-shaped eyeglᴀsses.

Brown promoted the anniversary show on social media, writing in a prior Instagram caption: ‘This album helped define an era, elevate R&B, and bring New Jack Swing to the forefront of popular music. 

‘Thirty-[eight] years later, the music, the culture, and the impact continue to inspire generations around the world.’

He invited his 754,000 followers to ‘join me on July 10, 2026, at the Saban Theatre as we celebrate the legacy of an album that helped change the game.’ 

The entertainer’s next performance will take place on August 30 at VyStar Amphitheater At The Bridge in Stockbridge, GA.

He promised in a promotional June 30 Instagram post: ‘From slow jams to dance floor anthems, @thegroupsilk and myself will bring the unforgettable music of the 80s and 90s back to life in an evening that celebrates the heart and soul of classic R&B.’

The star added, ‘Sing along to my legendary hits, including My Prerogative, Every Little Step, Roni, and Don’t Be Cruel, then settle into the smooth harmonies of Silk as they perform beloved classics like Freak Me, Meeting in My Bedroom, and Lose Control.

‘Whether these songs remind you of high school dances, family reunions, summer cookouts, or late-night slow dances, this is more than a concert, it’s a chance to relive the moments that made the music unforgettable.’

In the 2022 A&E four-part series Biography: Bobby Brown, he reflected on Houston’s shock death and said, ‘I think we could have helped each other out. I think she would still be here if we hadn’t divorced.

‘I wasn’t there. I beat myself about it because I wasn’t there. I wish I could have been there for her.’
