Molly Shannon used to ‘study’ celebrities like Jennifer Aniston that came into Cravings Restaurant on LA’s Sunset Strip, which closed in 2015, while she worked as a hostess in the early nineties.
‘Jennifer Aniston would always come in before she was really famous. And I would study her,’ the 61-year-old actress revealed on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Wednesday.
‘I was like, “Wow, she’s like a real [hustler].” She’d have her hair blown dry straight.’
Shannon ‘was so impressed with her business savvy’ as she arrived early to make sure the table looked right for her meeting with her agents.
‘She had like, crystal blue eyes. And I was like, whoa, she is all business,’ the three-time Emmy nominee marveled.
‘So I would stand at my hostess stand studying what it was like to become a superstar, studying Jennifer Aniston.’

The 57-year-old Emmy winner’s career launched in 1994 after starring in NBC sitcom Friends and Shannon was made a cast member on NBC sketch show Saturday Night Live in 1995.
And just four years later, the ladies reunited and got into a pretend cat fight for a skit on SNL when Aniston hosted.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Shannon’s publicist for comment, but did not immediately hear back.
The Ohio-born funnywoman – who also worked as a waitress at Melrose Baking Company, The Old Spaghetti Factory and Horn & Hardart automat – was mystified by what Julia Roberts used to order at Cravings.
‘Julia Roberts used to come in too for breakfast,’ Shannon told Jimmy Kimmel Live on April 16.
‘She just ordered sausage. And I was like, “That’s so interesting!” Just sausage. I was like, “Maybe she already had breakfast before?” Superstars eat sausage – just protein, no carbs.’
The Driver’s Ed actress also met Will Ferrell while waitressing, and the SNL veterans reunited to star as golfer Lonnie Hawkins and his estranged wife Stacy in Harper Steele’s 10-episode comedy The Hawk, which premiered Thursday on Netflix.
The Hawk also features Luke Wilson, Jimmy Tatro, Fortune Feimster, Chris Parnell and David Hornsby.
