Busty Sofia Vergara shines attending World Cup finale in New Jersey

Sofia Vergara was among a number of celebrities in attendance at Sunday’s World Cup finale stemming from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The 54-year-old actress shared a number of images and clips to her Instagram account as she took in the festivities ahead of the soccer finale, which saw Spain prevail over Argentina in a 1-0 win.

The Barranquilla, Colombia native kept cool on the warm summer day in a brown top with straps, with blue jeans and white sneakers, donning a pair of sunglᴀsses with her brown locks down and parted.

The Modern Family star posed for a number of pH๏τos as she was accompanied by her son Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, 34, and friends for the championship soccer match. 

She was also seen in selfies with boyfriend Douglas Chabbott, with the game unfolding on the field in the background, and another in which she flashed a peace sign as the pair embraced during the game.

Vergara captioned one post, ‘The excitement of the world cup’ along with emojis of a soccer ball, hearts and the flags of both nations who were competing in the final game on Sunday.

She tagged into the post Telemundo and made a cameo appearance on camera during a segment on Sunday’s broadcast of the high-profile soccer match.

Vergara had previously appeared in ads for the network’s coverage of the World Cup with actor Owen Wilson.

The star had previously been seen in attendance at a World Cup game in Los Angeles, watching the U.S. take on Paraguay in the Group D opening match.

At the outset of the compeтιтion, Vergara spoke with People about some conflicts she had amᴀssing enough tickets to give to relatives who wanted them.

‘It’s been good and bad because, like, for example, I’m going to be able to watch some games with them together,’ Vergara told the outlet June 12. ‘We’re going to be able to do what we do when we come together, which is eat and put together the family and everything.

‘It’s also created some problems because I am going to be able to go to some games, and I cannot get all of them in the games.’

Vergara commented on the dilemma, ‘It’s been kind of like a little bit of a struggle to pick who deserves to go to the World Cup. But it’s all been fun!’

She said that she found the games a strong bonding experience with relatives: ‘When you’re together, that’s when you really get to enjoy each other and eat, and fight, and complain and it’s fun.’ 

Vergara told the publication that she had been in touch with singer Shakira, one of the halftime performers at Sunday’s event, ahead of the anticipated performance.

‘I don’t even want to name-drop, but she texted me yesterday,’ Vergara told the outlet. ‘She asked me if I was going to be in L.A. for the games.’

She said she was ‘very excited’ to see Shakira take the stage, adding, ‘It’s going to be amazing … for sure I’m going to watch her.’

Vergara was back in the states after spending time in Italy earlier this month to celebrate her birthday.

‘So happy for all the love from u guys yesterday! It was the best bday ever!!!’ Vergara said ‘And thank u Italy for all my 300 cakes! 54 is a good number!!!!’
